Senior Finance Executive

Role & responsibilities

• Accounting and Bookkeeping: Maintain accurate financial records, ledger entries, journal entries, and supporting documentation.
• Accounts Payable and Receivable: Process vendor invoices, customer payments, expense claims, and outstanding receivables.
• Bank Reconciliation: Perform regular bank, cash, and ledger reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
• Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly financial reports, expense statements, cash flow reports, and management reports.
• Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in preparing budgets, financial forecasts, and variance analysis.
• Taxation and Compliance: Support GST, TDS, income tax documentation, and other statutory compliance requirements applicable to the business.
• Invoicing and Payments: Prepare invoices, verify payment requests, and coordinate with vendors and customers regarding outstanding balances.
• Month-End and Year-End Closing: Assist with closing activities and preparation of financial statements.
• Audit Support: Coordinate with internal and external auditors and provide necessary financial documents.
• Expense Management: Monitor business expenses, verify supporting documents, and ensure compliance with company policies.
• Financial Documentation: Maintain organized records of vouchers, invoices, purchase orders, and other financial documents.
• Coordination: Work closely with other departments to resolve finance-related queries and ensure timely financial processing.

Preferred candidate profile

• Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com), Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• MBA Finance, M.Com, or CA Inter qualification is an added advantage.
• 25 years of relevant experience in finance and accounting.
• Good knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Working knowledge of GST, TDS, and statutory compliance, where applicable.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software such as Tally ERP/Prime, SAP, or Oracle.
