Senior Finance Executive

Role & responsibilities

1.Accounting & Bookkeeping

• Maintaining financial records and ledgers
• Preparing journal entries and balance sheets
• Ensuring accuracy of financial data

2. Auditing

• Assisting in internal and statutory audits
• Verifying financial statements and compliance
• Identifying discrepancies and suggesting corrections

3. Taxation

• Preparing and filing income tax returns and GST returns
• Assisting with tax planning and compliance
• Keeping up with changes in tax laws

4. Financial Reporting

• Preparing financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow)
• Supporting monthly/quarterly closing processes
• Ensuring compliance with accounting standards

5. Compliance & Regulatory Work

• Ensuring adherence to laws and regulations
• Filing documents with authorities like Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, MCA, and tax departments
• Handling company law compliance

6. Financial Analysis

• Analyzing financial data for decision-making
• Budgeting and forecasting
• Cost analysis and profitability evaluation

Preferred candidate profile

• 5 to 6 years of relevant experience in accounting, auditing, taxation, or finance roles
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and compliance requirements
• Hands-on experience with taxation (Income Tax, GST) and statutory regulations
• Proficiency in tools such as Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., Tally, ERP systems)
• Good analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Ability to manage deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment
