Minimum Qualification and experience required

Educational Qualification Bachelors Degree in Commerce.

Work Experience

Minimum 5 years of work experience in finance department of any scheduled commercial bank or any company, out of which Minimum 3 years in handling GST and TDS related work in a bank.

Preference would be given to candidates having experience in working on Finacle Application

Job Role

The Senior Finance Assistant will support the finance department officers in preparation of GST and TDS data along with verification of payment notes received from various departments. The candidate is expected to have Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel (data sorting, formulas) and Finacle. The candidate should also possess numerical accuracy, strong organizational skills, and the ability to meet deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist finance department in preparation of GSTR 3B data
• Assist finance department in preparing GSTR 7 TDS on GST data.
• Verify vendor invoices to ensure correctness and completeness of PAN and GST details before processing payments received from other departments of the bank.
• Assist finance department with documentation required for audits and other assessments.
• Prepare payment notes for approval of department head for all payments pertaining to Finance department.
• Assist the finance department in preparation of monthly bank reconciliation statements.
• Ensure data privacy and audit compliance in all assignments.
