Senior Facility Coder with TruBridge Experience

8 to 10+ years of medical coding experience, preferably in hospital/facility coding.

• Strong TruBridge hospital billing experience
• Expert in UB-04 / 837I institutional claims
• Type of Bill (TOB) selection and correction
• Revenue code assignment and charge mapping
• ICD-10-CM diagnosis coding and sequencing
• ICD-10-PCS procedure coding for inpatient cases
• CPT/HCPCS coding for outpatient facility services
• DRG assignment, including principal diagnosis, CC/MCC, and POA
• Patient status, admission/discharge dates, discharge status, condition codes, occurrence codes, and value codes
• Modifiers, units, service dates, and facility-specific claim fields
• Experience with ortho spine, total joints, ENT surgery, and inpatient stays
• Implant/device, OR, pharmacy, imaging, and ancillary charge capture
• Medicare/MA, Medicaid, and commercial payer facility billing requirements
• Ability to resolve UB claim edits, rejections, denials, corrected claims, and rebills
• Audit the full process from medical record charges/coding UB-04 payer acceptance payment
• Strong experience with UB-04 / institutional billing.
• Extensive knowledge of inpatient and outpatient facility coding.
• Hands-on experience with hospitalist and surgical coding.
• Experience coding or reviewing braces, DME, supplies, materials, implants, and equipment.
• Strong knowledge of revenue codes, CPT, HCPCS, modifiers, and NCCI edits.
• Hands-on experience with TruBridge or comparable hospital EHR/billing systems.
• Strong understanding of facility charge capture and claim workflows.
• Experience with coding audits, denials, and quality assurance.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
