Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Executive – Finance & Accounts with strong knowledge of accounting principles, taxation, financial reporting, and statutory compliance. The ideal candidate must be well-versed in Tally, Advanced MS Excel, and AI tools to improve accounting accuracy, automate routine tasks, and enhance financial reporting efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including purchase, sales, receipts, payments, journal entries, and ledger maintenance.
• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure timely accounting entries in Tally.
• Handle accounts payable, accounts receivable, vendor reconciliations, customer outstanding, and bank reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly financial statements, MIS reports, expense reports, and cash flow statements.
• Manage GST returns, TDS calculations and returns, and other applicable statutory compliances in coordination with consultants, wherever required.
• Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities.
• Monitor budgets, expenses, cash flow, and outstanding payments.
• Coordinate with auditors, banks, vendors, clients, and internal departments for finance-related matters.
• Ensure proper documentation, invoice verification, and maintenance of financial records.
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, reporting accuracy, and operational efficiency.
• Use AI tools to assist with financial data analysis, report preparation, reconciliation support, and automation of repetitive tasks, with appropriate verification of outputs.
• Maintain confidentiality and ensure compliance with company policies and applicable accounting standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com); M.Com, MBA Finance, or relevant professional qualifications will be an advantage.
• 5–7 years of relevant experience in Finance & Accounts.
• Strong working knowledge of Tally .
• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, SUMIF/SUMIFS, data validation, and financial reporting.
• Practical knowledge of GST, TDS, bank reconciliation, ledger scrutiny, and financial statements.
• Familiarity with AI tools such as ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, or similar tools for reporting, data analysis, and process automation.
• Strong analytical, numerical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• High attention to detail, integrity, and the ability to meet deadlines.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Hands-on experience in managing end-to-end accounting activities.
• Ability to independently manage routine finance operations and resolve discrepancies.
• Comfortable working with financial data, digital tools, and technology-enabled processes.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.
