Senior Executive

Role & responsibilities

1. Assist in production planning by running weekly sequencing plan and ensure a proper executable plan for manufacturing and packing and dispatch.
2. Monitor production performance and dispatch performance to ensure that performance is met. Resolving issues to ensure schedules are followed and escalate issues beyond control.
3. Collaborate with procurement, production, warehouse and quality control teams and ensure that materials are available for execution of production plans. This includes prioritization of quality control testing and follow up on release of raw materials and packing materials.
4. Ensure that new product launch and registration batches actions and timelines are met.
5. Daily review of performance with production teams to ensure tight control on schedules.

Inventory Management
Oversee and manage work in process inventory as well as raw materials/ packing materials to ensure production runs are not hampered. Ensuring planning and material call ups for plant controlled inventory items like excipients and shippers
Resolve any supply chain issues like shortages or delays by coordination with Corporate planning and procurement teams
Ensure low level of non moving inventory. Also responsible for identification and coordination for liquidation of non moving inventory

Documentation & Improvements
Monitor and review delivery metrics on daily/ weekly/ monthly basis
Ensure production orders are available in SAP system
Analyze performance for plant OTIF and suggests improvements to improve service levels

Qualifications & Pre-Requisites
•    Graduate in pharmacy or worked in a pharmaceutical supply chain
•    Total experience of 5+ years in production planning and inventory control.

Skills Required
•    Experience with SAP or ERP systesm
•    Excellent communication and inter personal skills for collaboration with multiple functions
•    Ability to manage multiple priorities and problem solving attitude
•    Strong time management skills with attention to details
•    Adaptability to changing conditions such as fluctuation in requirements, new product launches without compromising 

Operational efficiency
•    Understanding of multi product facility environment and manufacturing equipment and technologies including changeover procedures, cleaning practices
•  Ability to work for extended periods when required
