Senior Executive - Sourcing & Vendor Development

Role & responsibilities

• To lead sourcing of heavy fabrication assemblies, welded structures, precision machined components, sheet metal parts, and bought-out equipment.
• To prepare detailed cost estimates from engineering drawings, BOMs, specifications, and manufacturing processes.
• To conduct should-cost analysis, benchmarking, value engineering, and cost reduction initiatives.
• Evaluate RFQs, negotiate commercial terms, and finalize supplier agreements

Preferred candidate profile

• 4-6 years of experience in sourcing, procurement, cost estimation, and vendor development within heavy engineering, Heavy fabrication, machining, material handling, and steel industry Logistics and packaging equipment manufacturing
• B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
• Strong understanding of fabrication, welding, machining, sheet metal, and manufacturing processes.
• Ability to read engineering drawings, layouts, and BOMs.
