Senior executive sales AP

Job Purpose

Responsible for achieving primary sales targets by managing distributors, generating orders, ensuring product availability, driving billing and collections, and expanding the distributor network across the assigned territory.

Key Responsibilities

• Achieve assigned monthly, quarterly, and annual primary sales targets.
• Generate orders from distributors and ensure timely billing and dispatch.
• Manage distributor relationships and drive sustainable business growth.
• Monitor distributor-wise sales, stock, outstanding payments, and order pipeline.
• Ensure optimum inventory levels at distributor locations and avoid overstocking/stock ageing.
• Develop and implement distributor-wise business plans.
• Identify and appoint new distributors/super distributors in uncovered markets.
• Ensure timely collection of outstanding payments and maintain healthy receivables.
• Communicate company schemes, pricing, promotions, and incentive programs to distributors.
• Coordinate with Supply Chain, Finance, and Operations teams to ensure 95%+ order fulfilment.
• Monitor primary sales versus targets and take corrective actions for gaps.
• Prepare weekly and monthly primary sales reports for management.
• Track market demand and provide inputs for sales forecasting and production planning.
• Monitor competitor activities, pricing, schemes, and distribution strategies.
• Ensure effective utilization of promotional materials and trade schemes.
• Conduct regular distributor reviews and develop action plans for underperforming distributors.
