Role & responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates, budgets, and bill of quantities (BOQ) for projects.
• Review architectural, structural, drawings to quantify materials and project requirements.
• Conduct material take-offs and cost analysis.
• Evaluate and compare contractors commercial offers
• Prepare tender documents, bid evaluations, and contract recommendations.
• Monitor project costs and track budget utilization throughout the project lifecycle.
• Verify contractor bills, invoices, and payment certifications.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and recommend value engineering solutions.
• Manage contract variations, change orders, and claims.
• Coordinate with project managers, architects, consultants, contractors, and suppliers.
• Maintain project cost reports and provide regular updates to management.
• Ensure compliance with contractual obligations, company policies, and industry standards.
• Support project procurement activities and negotiate commercial terms when required.

Preferred candidate profile

• BE/B.Tech in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Procurement in Civil, Quantity Surveying, or a related discipline.
• 3-6years of experience in quantity surveying, preferably in commercial office fit-outs, Factory construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of BOQ analysis, estimation, rate analysis, and contract management.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and ERP/Project Management tools.
• Familiarity with construction materials, market rates, and procurement processes.
