Senior Executive - Maintenance

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the overall maintenance and reliable operation of plant machinery, electrical systems, utilities, and infrastructure.
• Plan and execute preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance.
• Minimize machine downtime and improve equipment availability.
• Manage electrical, mechanical, automation, and utility equipment.
• Manage spare parts, maintenance costs, and service vendors.
• Support machine installation, commissioning, and CAPEX projects.
• Ensure safety, statutory compliance, and proper maintenance records.
• Lead maintenance technicians and coordinate with Production, Quality, and other departments.
• Drive cost reduction, continuous improvement, and reduction of repeat breakdowns..
• Facility Maintenance
• Oversee maintenance of buildings, utilities, and infrastructure (HVAC, lighting, plumbing, fire safety systems, etc).
• Ensure proper functioning of seed storage facilities (ventilation, temperature monitoring, fumigation schedules).
• Continuous Improvement
• Contribute to process optimization and equipment modification initiatives.
• Recommend upgrades to improve reliability, energy efficiency, and performance.
• Participate in training of plant staff on safe and proper equipment use.
  
  

Education, Skills, and Work Experience Requirements:

• Educational Qualification: B.Tech in Mechanical in Engineering / Any Graduation
• Relevant Work Experience: 3- 7 years in any process industry such as seed, food product, chemical or heavy engineering.
• Skills:
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read technical diagrams, wiring layouts, and equipment manuals.
• Knowledge of PLC-controlled equipment (preferred).

Familiarity with preventive maintenance systems (CMMS).
