Role

The Senior Executive – Logistics & MIS will be responsible for managing logistics operations, transportation coordination, inventory movement tracking, and data-driven reporting (MIS). The role requires ensuring timely dispatches, maintaining high service levels, optimizing logistics costs, and generating accurate reports for business decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

Logistics Operations

• Monitor and manage daily inbound and outbound logistics operations to ensure timely deliveries and dispatches.
• Coordinate with transporters, warehouses, vendors, and internal stakeholders for smooth movement of goods.
• Track shipment status, identify delays, and proactively resolve transportation issues.
• Ensure OTIF (On-Time In-Full) delivery performance and maintain service level KPIs.
• Handle reverse logistics, claims, shortages, and damaged material resolution.
• Candidate should have strong knowledge of import/export procedures, regulatory compliance, and global supply chain operations

MIS & Reporting

• Prepare and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports related to logistics, dispatches, fill rate, freight cost, inventory movement, and service levels- .
• Generate reports for management review and business decision-making.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives for cost reduction and operational efficiency.
• Good understanding of logistics operations and supply chain processes.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Power Query, Dashboards).
• Knowledge of logistics KPIs such as OTIF, fill rate, freight cost, inventory accuracy, TAT, and vehicle utilization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations, Business Administration, or related field.
• 4–5 years of experience in logistics, supply chain operations, and MIS reporting.
• Experience in FMCG, D2C, Retail, Manufacturing, or E-commerce industry preferred.
