Senior Executive - Indirect Purchase

Job Overview

• Responsible for getting quotes for promotional items, Admin services, capital project purchases, managing contracts including, negotiating, reviewing, renewing, and evaluating for availability, price, term, and quality of product.
• Co-ordinating bid process in ARIBA and ensuring compliance, policies, regulations. Knowledge of developing different MIS. Improving purchasing method/process.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

• New vendor development and maintain vendor master data.
• Co-ordination with various departments for their requirements.
• Operational understanding of RFI/RFQ/RFP process.
• Vendor negotiations with vendor for the best proposition for the organization.
• Making Comparative Analysis & getting required approval as per DOP/ SOP.
• Delivery follow-up & Co-ordination with supplier.
• Manage procurement (Indirect-Purchase) activity at PAN India.
• Rate Contract/Agreement for commonly procured item.
• Generate MIS report through SAP/ARIBA
• Spend Analysis.
• Vendor performance evaluation & vendor Audit.
• Audit Compliance.
• Meeting with different OES' to optimize and reduce the cost by negotiating
• Coupon Handling and uploading in CTS. Maintaining MIS for coupons records
• Coordinating between Production and Vendor for uninterrupted flow of coupons.
• Vendor Audit and capacity mapping of vendors for critical items
• Monthly review open EPRs/ PO's

Knowledge, Skills and Competencies

• Knowledge of SAP
• Knowledge in Ariba
• Knowledge of spreadsheet applications like MS Excel, PPT presentation
• Overall knowledge of execution and sourcing
• Preferably from lubricants, chemical, FMCG
