Senior Executive Freight Revenue Calculation & HO Remittance Process

Role & responsibilities

Scrutiny Of Freight Calculation Files: -

• Coordination with Apprentice Staff within the team for Scrutiny of vessels revenue freight calculation files received from GBS GL Team for CMA CGM SA line, ANL lines & CNC Line. Forward revenue details to Compliance team Or Branch offices for filing vessels Income tax return & use the same vessel revenue reports for preparation of Surplus Freight Documents For HO Remittances. 

Coordination with GBS Team: -

• Coordination with GBS team to rectify errors found in Vessels Freight Calculation files received from GBS team.
• Coordination with GBS GL team to provide CMA CGM SA, ANL Line & CCAS – CNC Line monthly D&D Revenue report for HO remittance.

Coordination With Agency Compliance Team: -

• Resolve queries raised by compliance team on vessels freight calculation file.
• Coordinate with compliance team on regular basis to improve the process.

Preparation of Revenue Reports For H.O. Remittance Of CMA CGM SA, ANL & CCAS-CNC Lines: -

• Export Freight Remittance: - After adjustment of expenses of Export vessel voyage, providing details to Treasury team in pre-defined format to perform Export vessels surplus Freight Remittance.
• Import Freight Remittance File: - Extracting monthly Import revenue report from LISA post closure of AR period and providing monthly Import vessels revenue data to Treasury team for processing Import Vessel Surplus Freight remittances.
• D&D Remittance: - Cross checking of D&D revenue details received from GBS team & providing D&D revenue details to Treasury team for processing remittances.

Coordination with Other Departments: -

• Coordinate with GBS team, Agency Service Delivery team, Branch offices to resolve long pending issues identified by GBS team during freight revenue file extractions & revenue file preparations process.

Coordination with Auditor: -

• Coordination with Statutory auditor and HO Internal auditor during audit period to resolve queries raised during audit and providing necessary data to Auditor as per their audit requirements.

Processing HO Remittances: -

• Coordinate with Treasury Manager and process HO remittances for CMA CGM SA HO, ANL HO,                CCAS-CNC HO as per availability of Surplus funds in their collection account.

Processing Online Payment To Government Port, Customs: -

• Processing online payment to Government Port, Vessel Light Dues Payment and Customs Duty payments, sharing the payment challan to requester & submitting request to GBSI team for    accounting entry.

Submitting Request To GBSI Team For Creation Of Payment Transactions On Banking Portal:- 

• Submitting request in CIRA tool, requesting GBSI AP team to create HO remittance, Petty cash      and other payment request on the online portal.  

Providing Process Training To Apprentice Staff : -

• Provide process training to apprentice staff joining the team to ensure apprentice staff can efficiently work & assist in completion of process work.

Preferred candidate profile

• Commerce Graduate with minimum 4 years of experience in Container Shipping & surplus Freight Remittances Processing. 
• Excellent in prioritization of work, Good Communication Skill, self-motivated and team player.
• Knowledge of MS Office tools, Excel Proficiency, Good in accounting fundamentals.
• Problem solving nature, excellent in time management, target oriented, ready to learn new processes within the team to create backups within team.
