Senior Executive/ Executive - GST

Job Summary

We are looking for a GST Assistant with 4-6 years of practical experience in GST compliance and accounting. The candidate should have working knowledge of GST returns filing, ITC reconciliation, invoice verification, and basic accounting processes applicable to a manufacturing setup.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparation and filing support for GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-2B/IMS reconciliation).
• Verification of purchase and sales invoices as per GST rules.
• Reconciliation of Input Tax Credit (ITC) with books and GST portal data.
• Maintaining GST records and documentation.
• Assisting in GST workings, tax calculations, and compliance.
• Coordination with the accounts team for monthly GST data preparation.
• Handling GST notices or departmental queries with guidance from seniors.
• Ensuring proper HSN codes and tax rates in invoices.
• Supporting audit requirements related to GST.

Required Skills

• Basic practical knowledge of GST laws and GST portal.
• Experience in preparing or assisting with GST returns.
• Familiarity with ERP / accounting software.
• Working knowledge of MS Excel.
• Good attention to detail and documentation skills.

Qualification

• B.Com / M.Com having 2-4 years of experience in GST and accounts.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in manufacturing industry GST compliance.
• Understanding of ITC reconciliation (GSTR2A/2B, IMS Dashboard) and GST portal operations.
