Senior Executive - Australian Accounts (Female Only)

About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Accounts Executive with hands-on experience in preparing Balance Sheets, Profit & Loss statements, weekly and monthly reports, and MIS. The candidate should be able to independently maintain accurate accounts, analyse financial information and explain key movements.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare weekly and monthly P&L reports, compare performance with previous periods and budgets, and explain major variances.
• Prepare Balance Sheets and supporting schedules, ensuring balances are reconciled and supported.
• Prepare MIS reports covering revenue, expenses, profitability, cash flow, receivables and payables.
• Complete month-end closing, including accruals, prepayments, depreciation and journal entries.
• Perform bank, credit card, loan and intercompany reconciliations.
• Scrutinise general ledgers and identify incorrect entries, unusual balances and missing transactions.
• Maintain receivable and payable ageing reports and highlight overdue balances.
• Coordinate with clients and internal teams to resolve queries and obtain supporting information.
• Support year-end finalisation and provide schedules and documents required for review.
• Ensure reports are accurate and delivered within agreed deadlines.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• M.B.A/M.Com or CA Inter with relevant practical experience.
• Hands-on experience preparing P&L, Balance Sheet and MIS reports is essential.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and month-end closing.
• Good Excel skills, including PivotTables, SUMIFS and lookup formulas.
• Experience using accounting software; knowledge of Xero, MYOB or QuickBooks is an advantage.
• Ability to analyse figures and explain financial results clearly.
• Good communication, attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
• Australian accounting experience will be an advantage.
