# Job Description Senior Executive, Accounts Payable

### Job Summary

We are looking for a Senior Executive – Accounts Payable with good knowledge of SAP, strong Excel skills, and experience in vendor/customer reconciliation and query resolution. Candidates with prior experience in a Chartered Accountant (CA) firm will also be considered, and such experience will be an added advantage.

### Key Responsibilities

* Perform vendor and customer account reconciliations.

* Identify discrepancies and resolve vendor/customer queries related to invoices, payments, and outstanding balances.

* Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to resolve pending issues.

* Handle ledger scrutiny and investigate reconciliation mismatches.

* Support invoice processing, payment tracking, and outstanding balance confirmations.

* Maintain accurate accounting records and reconciliation reports.

* Assist with month-end closing activities and audit requirements.

* Ensure timely resolution of queries and adherence to defined SLAs.

### Required Skills

* Good working knowledge of **SAP**.

* Strong proficiency in **MS Excel**.

* Basic analytical and problem-solving skills.

* Experience in vendor reconciliation, customer reconciliation, and accounts payable activities.

* Ability to investigate discrepancies and resolve accounting queries.

* Good communication and coordination skills.

### Preferred Qualifications

* 3–5 years of relevant experience in Accounts Payable, Reconciliation, or General Accounting.

* Candidates with experience working in a **CA firm will be considered an added advantage**.

* Experience with ERP systems and corporate accounting processes is preferred.

* **Immediate joiners are strongly preferred.**
