Senior Executive / AM - Purchase

Location : Thane - Wagle Estate

Working Hours : 9:00 AM to 6 AM - Monday to Saturday ( Alt Saturday's off)

Key Responsibilities

·  Execute the full procurement cycle: RFQs, comparative statements, negotiation, and purchase order creation in the SAP for Raw Material , Lab chemicals – RND and Packaging material.

·  Identify and qualify suppliers, perform strategic and tactical sourcing to maintain a healthy vendor relationship through vendor management

· Track order status, expedite deliveries, and coordinate with stores/warehouses for GRN and invoice processing.

· Analyze spending, monitor price trends, and recommend cost‑reduction initiatives without compromising quality.

·  Maintain accurate procurement data: POs, delivery schedules, pricing, and vendor records.

·  Ensure compliance with company policies, QA standards, statutory requirements and support audits.

·  Collaborate with internal stakeholders (SCM, Production) to forecast demand and avoid stock‑outs.

·   Co-ordination for checking COA with the Technical team wherever needed as per the requirement.

·   Handle return/replacement, and CAPA with vendors where applicable.

·    Drive continuous improvement and support digitization/automation in procurement processes.

Quality Assurance:

• Ensure that all purchased goods and services meet quality standards. 
• Work with suppliers to address any quality issues.
•   Arrangement of QA related document

Skills:

• Good negotiation and communication skills. 
• Proficiency in purchasing software SAP systems and other tools like Excel, PowerPoint.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 
• Good time management skills. 
• Knowledge of GMP / Pharmaceutical /Food grade documentations
