Key Responsibilities

• Accounting/ Transactions
• Daily entries of Purchase, Sales, Returns, Expenses, Payments, Receipts
• Preparing delivery challans, sales invoices, purchase orders and e-way bills
• Maintaining accounts in computer software
• Preparing Trial Balance, Profit and Loss Account, and Balance Sheet
• Ledger management
• Master management (customers/ stores, products, vendors, etc.)
• Compliance
• Monthly workings and filing for GST, TDS, etc.
• Applications for casual GST
• Co-coordinating with CA for finalization of accounts and tax returns
• Staying updated with current financial regulations and accepted practices
• Banking
• Follow-up and reconciliation of payables and receivables
• Preparing Bank Reconciliation, handling petty cash and doing other banking works
• Financial & business analysis
• Financial and business analysis (sales, P&L, etc.) and preparing relevant MIS reports. Highlight key gaps/ opportunities and potential intervention required
• System inventory tracking and management of finished goods and raw material/ packaging material basis inward/ outward/ transfers

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or related field (preferred)
• 3-8 years of relevant experience, preferably in fashion industry in a similar role
• Software knowledge in Tally and computer basics
• Comfortable with MS Office, especially Advanced Excel (including vlookup, pivot tables, etc.)
• Good communication skills
