Part of the Plato Data Platform organisation within Atlassian Engineering. Plato builds and operates Atlassians foundational data platform - high-throughput streaming ingestion and MPP query/serving - that powers analytics and data products across Atlassian. Product Data Platform is the only UGC approved data lake in Atlassian. We are the data source behind myriad of use-cases from in-product analytics (Jira/JSM/Confluence and more..), Atlassian Analytics for enterprise data warehouse use-case, ML usecases, Atlassian Twg and Rovo, and the list goes on.

We are hiring Engineering Managers to lead within Plato Data Platform . There are two leadership areas: Ingestion (Flink-based streaming pipelines) and Consumption (StarRocks-based MPP query/serving). This is a full-lifecycle platform team responsible for the reliability, performance, cost and scale of critical data infrastructure.
