Senior Engineer

Role & responsibilities

• Prepare project execution plans in coordination with the Project Manager.
• Develop building-wise material procurement schedules.
• Conduct daily site inspections and ensure adherence to quality standards, SOPs, and safety guidelines.
• Assign tasks to Junior Engineers and Site Supervisors and monitor timely completion.
• Track daily work progress against planned schedules and actual execution.
• Ensure optimum utilization of manpower, materials, and other site resources.
• Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, supervisors, and the ERP team for smooth site operations.
• Prepare material requisitions and estimate daily material requirements.
• Monitor construction activities to ensure quality, cost control, and compliance with project specifications.
• Identify and report deviations from the project plan and suggest corrective actions.
• Verify material, contractor, and vendor bills before submission to the Project Manager.
• Maintain effective coordination with stakeholders to achieve project milestones.
• Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly site progress reports.
• Recommend improvements in construction materials, workmanship, and technology.
