Senior Engineer

Role & responsibilities

• Oversee operation and maintenance activities of ground-mounted solar power plants.
• Monitor plant performance and coordinate with site teams for efficient generation.
• Handle and manage a portfolio of 40 - 50 MW solar assets.
• Lead and supervise office-based monitoring team and ensure proper reporting.
• Review daily, weekly, and monthly reports from cluster heads and site teams.
• Coordinate with clients and ensure timely communication and issue resolution.
• Analyze plant performance parameters and suggest improvements.
• Ensure proper documentation, reporting, and record maintenance.
• Manage breakdowns, troubleshooting, and escalation processes.
• Ensure adherence to O&M contracts, SLAs, and safety standards.
• Take regular updates from cluster heads and ensure site performance targets are achieved.

Preferred candidate profile

• Bachelors degree in electrical engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 to 7 years of experience in solar power plant O&M, specifically in ground-mounted projects.
• Proven experience in handling large-scale solar plants (4050 MW or more).
• Experience in team management, client handling, and reporting structure.
