Qualification/ Personal Attributes

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical, Electrical, Electronics or Industrial Engineering (or equivalent), 4-7 years of experience in plant/facility maintenance, preferably Solar Cell manufacturing or process industries.
• Strong knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance techniques, TPM, and root cause analysis.
• Hands-on experience with PLCs and automation systems.
• Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Commitment to workplace safety and regulatory compliance.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Sound knowledge on Solar Cell Process of both Perc and Topcon Technology.
• Lead and oversee preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities for all critical equipment.
• Fill up the MIS report (breakdown details, preventive maintenance and spare parts maintenance).
• Troubleshoot any types of problems, such as mechanical, electrical, and automation issues to minimize downtime.
• Collaborate with production, quality, and safety teams to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives-cost reduction and equipment upgrades (implementation of Kaizen for reducing breakdowns or improving machine life).
• Manage spare parts inventory and timely reporting to manager if spare parts minimum stock quantities are not maintained.
• Train and mentor junior engineers and technicians, fostering a culture of safety and technical excellence.
