What You'll Do

At Eaton India Innovation Center, the Digital team is currently seeking a UI Developer to join our team! This position is based at our office in Magarpatta City, Pune.

As a UI Developer in our center in India, you will work in the domain of energy distribution and be part of a diverse team of talented developers, leads, architects, test engineers, scrum masters, DevOps engineers, and more.

You must have strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks while adapting quickly to changing priorities. You thrive in a growth-oriented organization.

We are looking for someone who is passionate, understands and inculcates ethical values with transparency, and is a quick learner of upcoming technical domains.

We are seeking a skilled and passionate React.js Developer with over 6 years of experience in building modern, high-performance web applications. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in React.js and JavaScript, with a strong focus on frontend performance and UI/UX best practices.

• Develop and maintain scalable web applications using React and other front-end technologies.
• Develop and maintain user-facing features using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, Typescript.
• Collaborate with UX designers and back-end developers to create seamless and visually appealing interfaces.
• Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
• Conduct user research and usability testing to enhance interface effectiveness.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues across different browsers and devices.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.
• Integrate front-end UI with backend services to ensure cohesive performance.
• Collaborate with designers, product managers, and other engineers to deliver high-quality features.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
• Perform code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues across the stack.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and best practices in full-stack development.
  
  

Qualifications

Required: Bachelor's degree in Electronics/Electrical/Computer Science Engineering from accredited institution

Desired: Master's degree in Electrical/Computer/Electronics & Telecomm Engineering from accredited institution

Required

4+ yrs of experience in Dev experience in Javascript

4+ years of experience in typescript

7+ yrs of experience in React JS

4+ yrs of experience with HTML5/CSS, ES6 as well as responsive designs

Skills

• Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3
• Experience with Redux, Context API, or other state management libraries
• Experience with unit testing frameworks like Jest, React Testing Library
• Hands-on experience with RESTful APIs and asynchronous programming
• Knowledge of build tools like Webpack, Babel.
• Hands-on experience with TypeScript
• Hands-on experience in UI automation and testing
• Knowledge of accessibility (a11y) and web standards
• Familiarity with version control systems like Git
• Strong debugging and performance tuning skills
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
• Contributions to open-source projects or personal portfolio is a plus
• Ability to resolve issues that impact deadlines; moving rapidly to meet the demands of a fast-growing company.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate and interact with a variety of internal/external customers and/or co-workers.
