• Prepare detailed quantity take-offs from coordinated architectural, structural and relevant services drawings: earthworks, shoring, rock excavation, piling, pile caps, grade beams, RCC, reinforcement, formwork, masonry, plastering, waterproofing, finishes, doors/windows, external works and amenities.
• Draft complete item-wise descriptions and workmanship/material specifications for civil, architectural and finishing works, referencing relevant CPWD specifications, IS codes, Kerala PWD/PRICE conventions and project-specific performance criteria as applicable.

• Issue RFIs and maintain drawing/quantity discrepancy registers; manage quantity revisions and estimate changes arising from design development.
• Prepare tender enquiry documents, pricing schedules, bid clarifications, comparative statements, commercial evaluation and recommendations for procurement decisions.
• Administer awarded BOQs and change records; verify site measurements, interim payments, variations, reconciliation, final quantities and forecast cost at completion in coordination with the site team.
• Support value engineering, material alternatives, cost-risk reviews and monthly management dashboards with versioncontrolled cost records. Essential skills and standards
• Advanced Excel (structured estimates, formulas, pivots, lookup functions and auditable calculation sheets); AutoCAD drawing interpretation and quantity take-off.
• Working capability in PlanSwift, CostX, Bluebeam or equivalent digital take-off tools; BIM/Revit quantity awareness is an advantage.
Practical understanding of CPWD specifications and DSR principles, Kerala PWD PRICE/SOR methodology, applicable IS codes, NBC interfaces and construction measurement conventions.
