Senior Engineer-PPC

Role & responsibilities

• Assist in the developing production schedules to meet customer demand and company objectives.
• Monitor production progress and coordinate with various departments to ensure that production targets are met.
• Collaborate with the procurement and inventory teams to monitor flow of materials for production.
• Analyse production data and identify trends, issues, and areas for improvement
• Implement strategies to improve production planning and control processes
• Conduct regular inspections of the production floor to ensure adherence to quality standards and safety regulations.
• Participate in continuous improvement projects and drive initiatives to enhance operational performance
• Prepare and present production reports to management, highlighting key performance metrics and areas for improvement
  

Preferred candidate profile

•Knowledge of production planning and control principles, methodologies, and best practices

• Proficient in using production planning and scheduling software

• Analytical and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
