Senior Engineer- Pipiping Production- BMP

Engineers /Sr. Engineers ( Exp- 8- 12)

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, organize, and control daily production activities for piping spool fabrication
• Lead shop floor operations including cutting, fit-up, welding, NDT, and dispatch
• Ensure production targets are achieved as per schedule and client requirements
• Review drawings, isometrics, and work orders before execution
• Coordinate with QA/QC, planning, design, and stores for smooth workflow
• Monitor productivity, identify bottlenecks, and implement improvements
• Ensure strict compliance with quality standards and codes (ASME, ISO, etc.)
• Manage and supervise manpower, including welders, fitters, and operators
• Implement cost control and wastage reduction initiatives
• Ensure adherence to safety standards and conduct toolbox talks
• Prepare daily/weekly production reports and MIS
• Support audits, client inspections, and documentation

Required Skills & Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of piping fabrication processes
• Ability to read and interpret isometric drawings and GA drawings
• Good understanding of welding processes (SMAW, GTAW, SAW, etc.)
• Knowledge of NDT methods (RT, UT, PT, MT)
• Familiarity with piping codes and standards (ASME B31.3, API, etc.)
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Problem-solving and decision-making ability
• Good communication and coordination skills
