Senior Engineer or Assistant Manager

• Responsible for leading the new tooling/ equipment design review and runoff for new project base on project schedule.
• Should be able to do work in assembly machines and special purpose machines
• Should have through knowledge on fixturing, tooling on assembly machines and special purpose machines.
• Trouble shooting of SPM’s/Assembly machines
• Communicate with vendors to determine product specifications and arrange for purchase of machinery and equipment according to specifications and machine runoff standards.
• Optimize manufacturing process to meet Uptime, First Time Quality and Changeover goals
• Apply statistical methods and perform product/process analysis for cost reduction, quality efficiency improvements.
• Maintaining manufacturing documents, such as SMP, PFMEA, PFD, W/I, etc.
• Perform design and development of manufacturing process including production flow, layout, assembly process, development on fixture and equipment.
• Lead process problem solving / root cause analysis.
• CNC programming. Fixturing are added advantage

Skills and Abilities/Qualification:

• Bachelor degree of mechanical engineering required
• AutoCAD capability preferred
• Familiarity with Allen Bradley, Fanuc, Siemens control devices preferred
• Able to understand and apply manufacturing standards and tools, including CPI, PFMEA, PFD, SPC, etc.
• Able to develop standard and specialized processes and tooling used in manufacturing production
• Able to generally understand the industrial hydraulic, pneumatic system and controls
• Self-motivated, accepts responsibility for assigned area
• Able to clearly communicate in written and verbal English
• Able to travel as required

Experience:BE with more than 10 - 12 years of experience

6 sigma training preferred
