Senior Engineer Network

Responsibilities

JOB DESCRIPTION ⮚ Configure and install various network devices and services (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, VPN, QoS) ⮚ Perform network maintenance and system upgrades including service packs, patches, hot fixes and security configurations ⮚ Monitor performance and ensure system availability and reliability ⮚ Provide Level-1 support and troubleshooting to resolve issues ⮚ Fundamental understanding and direct hands on experience with major vendors router ,switch, firewall configurations: Allied Telesis, Juniper, Cisco, Extreme, HP-Aruba with additional Fortinet check point ⮚ Solid understanding and direct hands on experience with Allied Telesis, Juniper, Extreme, Palo Alto, Cisco ⮚ Liaise with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution ⮚ Provide remote technical support or onsite support for identified products 24x7 when required.

Requirements ⮚ Proven hands-on network engineering experience. ⮚ CCNA or JNCIA certified ⮚ Deep understanding of networking protocols (e.g., IPSEC, VRRP, BGP, OSPF, 802.11, QoS) ⮚ Solid understanding of the OSI or TCP/IP model ⮚ Hands-on experience with monitoring, network diagnostic and network analytics tools ⮚ Related Bachelor’s degree plus experience with enterprise networks an ability to learn new technologies
