Due to our continuing expansion we currently have an opportunity for a Senior Highways Engineer on multi-disciplinary offshore executed projects from Bangalore office.
Working in a multidisciplinary team of designers and engineers providing a professional design service to our clients, this is an ideal opportunity for individuals looking to develop their international experience with a world renowned consultant.
Your Role
- Qualified Degree in Civil Engineering from a reputed College.
- Have relevant experience in the region of around 8 to 12 years in consultancy business working on highways and related features.
- Experienced user of Civil3D/ Open Roads, MX design, AutoCAD.
- Knowledge in highways design codes and standards. (KSA/Qatar/UAE/DMRB/AASHTHO).
- Experience implementing quality standards and procedures.
- A very good knowledge of working in all applications of MS Office.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Evidence of having successfully delivered highway projects.
About You
Qualifications & Skills
- Holds a Masters Degree in a relevant discipline.
- Expert in the use of Civil3D ,Open Roads road design software and AutoCAD.
- Experience of using AutoDesk Civils 3D for the design of highway schemes.
- Experience of the design of grade separated junctions.
- Experience of the design of pipe drainage networks.
- Working knowledge of KSA/Qatar/UAE/DMRB/AASHTHO.
- project based supervision of designers and drafting staff.
- maintaining technical quality standards and mentoring junior designers.
- delivering projects to time and budget.
- liaising with UK based customers in a responsive and client focused manner.
- Be highly self-motivated and ambitious.
- Have a track record of technical achievement and client satisfaction within the highways and bridges industry.
- Be able to work with minimal supervision.
- Have the ability to adapt to different cultures and working environments to build rapport with customers.
- Be able to build excellent working relationships with colleagues and clients.
- Have the experience of using written and spoken English within a business environment.
- The position is to be based in Bangalore .
