About the company
JuliaHub delivers transformative software products for modeling and simulation, solving the world s most complex scientific and technical challenges. By pioneering a unique Scientific Machine Learning (SciML) approach and integrating Agentic AI through its flagship Dyad product suite, JuliaHub merges the rigor of traditional science with the speed of machine learning. We arent just participating in the industry; JuliaHub is defining the future of AI-driven modeling and simulation. Our mission is to provide best-in-class solutions for a global market, capturing significant share across the Aerospace, Automotive, Industrial, Utilities, and Pharma verticals.
The Opportunity
We are looking for a Senior Engineer with strong expertise in industrial modeling and simulation(1D/System Simulation) to develop reusable, production-quality models and digital twins for Dyad.
You will work in one or more of mechanical, thermal, hydraulic, and electrical domains, developing models for complex systems such as HVAC, batteries, and vehicles . You will work closely with customers, industry experts, and engineering teams to translate real-world engineering challenges into robust modeling solutions for our customers.
What Youll Do
- Design and develop industrial systems models across mechanical, thermal, hydraulic, electrical and other domains firmly grounded in first principles and physics-based conservation laws.
- Develop and validate digital twins for complex multi-domain systems , from requirements through implementation and validation against real-world data.
- Translate customer and industry requirements into model specifications and technical solutions .
- Improve model accuracy, performance, scalability, and maintainability .
- Establish and follow best practices for model structure, interfaces, documentation, testing, versioning, Git workflows, and CI/CD.
- Contribute to the evolution of Dyad by identifying gaps in model libraries and opportunities to support new industrial applications.
- Work with customers and industry experts to understand modeling challenges and explain technical approaches and trade-offs.
What Were Looking For
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in physical systems modeling and simulation, with experience developing production-quality models or model libraries.
- Familiarity with equation-based, object-oriented modeling languages (e.g., Julia/ModelingToolkit,Modelica, Simscape), or similar multi-domain simulation environments.
- Deep expertise in at least one domain such as HVAC, batteries, thermal systems, vehicles, aerospace, energy, or industrial systems , with exposure to multiple physical domains.
- Experience in developing and maintaining reusable models and libraries .
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with customers, engineers, and technical stakeholders.
- Experience with model calibration, parameter estimation, system identification, or validation against experimental or field data.
- Advanced degree in engineering, applied mathematics, or a related field.
- Ability to successfully translate customer engineering challenges into practical modeling solutions.
Why Join Us

About
JuliaHub was founded by the creators of the Julia language. We help our customers solve complex and challenging computational problems that run on thousands of processors in the cloud or on matchbox sized systems in ones pocket. We operate out of Boston, New York, and Bangalore.
Julia is a new programming language that combines the productivity of languages like R, Python, or Matlab with the performance of C and Fortran. Julia provides a sophisticated compiler, distributed parallel execution, numerical accuracy, and an extensive library of fast mathematical functions. It is being used by a number of universities for teaching and research, and by businesses in areas as diverse as engineering, finance, and e-commerce, to name a few.
