Senior Engineer II-QA

Role: QA Automation Engineer

What Were Looking For

• 3-6 years of experience in software testing, including at least 3 years building test automation.
• Proven experience designing and building test automation frameworks from the ground up, beyond writing scripts or maintaining existing frameworks.
• Strong API testing experience using REST Assured, Postman, or similar tools, including negative, edge-case, and security-related scenarios.
• UI automation experience with Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, WebdriverIO, or similar tools.
• Strong data validation skills, including writing SQL queries to verify data accuracy, completeness, and consistency across systems.
• Strong programming skills in at least one language, such as Python, Java, or TypeScript.
• Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar).
• Ability to understand the product end to end, beyond testing alone: you can read architecture documents, understand how components interact, and clearly explain the full system flow from user request to final output.
• Clear written communication, including precise bug reports, concise risk summaries, and constructive feedback on requirements.

Nice to have

• Hands-on performance testing experience with k6, JMeter, Locust, or similar tools, and the ability to analyze and interpret results, not just run the tool.
• Experience testing LLM-based or AI features.
• Familiarity with MCP (Model Context Protocol), AI agent frameworks.
• Knowledge of cloud and data platforms concepts such as GCP, BigQuery, Kubernetes, Redis.
• Experience with contract testing, observability tools.
