Role Purpose

Experienced Senior Instrumentation & Control Systems Engineer with 16+ years of expertise in offshore oil & gas, FLNG, FPSO, wellhead platforms, refinery, and terminal automation projects. Specialized in ICSS, PCS, ESD, PSD, F&G, PMS, HIPS, and Functional Safety Systems, with extensive experience covering FEED, detailed engineering, procurement, FAT/IFAT, commissioning, and startup support.

Designation: Senior Engineer I – Package Engineer Instrumentation - Global Service Centre

Base Location: Chennai

Reporting to: GSC EPC Manager.

Key Role Responsibilities

• Lead instrumentation and control system engineering for offshore and onshore projects.
• Develop and review instrument indexes, I/O lists, control narratives, Cause & Effect diagrams, and technical specifications.
• Manage vendor engineering, technical bid evaluations, procurement, and document reviews.
• Support FAT, IFAT, SAT, pre-commissioning, commissioning, and startup activities.
• Coordinate with clients, EPC contractors, OEMs, licensors, and class authorities (DNV).
• Lead 3D model reviews, construction support, and multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Ensure compliance with IEC 61508, IEC 61511, client specifications, and international standards.
