Job Purpose
The main purpose of this job is to handle civil and structural detail engineering activities of Individual projects including pre order engineering activities.
Educational Qualifications
B. E. (Civil Engineering) from reputed university with good Academic Record
Experience
5-8 Years
Key Job Success factors (Key Responsibilities)
Lead Engineer Civil and Structural for Bioenergy group
1. Prepare detail engineering schedule along with manhours required for structural engineering.
2. Contract Review, understand Client requirement, design requirement and Prepare Design Basis
3. Co-ordination with Structural Consultant and detailing vendor and interdisciplinary co-ordination
4.Track detail engineering activities with reference to the schedule and take necessary actions for timely completion of tasks.
5. Attend Design review meetings and resolve the technical queries if any and check the final updated deliverables.
6. Structural Model Review with Vendor and structural Consultant
7. Model Review with cross functional team and clash checking.
8. Checking of Civil and fabrication drawing, monitoring and resolving day-to-day problems
9. Prepare, check and release Material Take-Offs.
10. Handling, co-ordination and closing all Technical Queries Request (TQR), Design Change Request (DCR), Field Change Request (FCR) w.r.t. Civil Structure engineering.
11. Ensure that civil and structural engineering is carried out as per the quality requirements of Praj Quality Management Systems.
Other Responsibilities
1. Develop outsourcing agencies for civil and structural engineering
2. Develop construction contractors / companies to handle civil execution
3. Standardization and Automation activities in civil and structural engineering
4. Compliance with Internal systems and process implementation
Technical Competencies
1. Basic understanding of inputs required for Civil and structural engineering.
2. Posses Communication skills to co-ordinate with Client, Structural Consultant, Contractors, Third party approver etc.
3. Hands on experience on STAAD Pro, software
4. Posses Management skills to manage overall engineering activities
Knowledge and Skills
1. Knowledge of Design standards and codes referred for Civil and Structural Designing.
2. Knowledge of design and detailing softwares like STAAD Pro, Tekla, AutoCAD, Microsoft office and MS Project)
3. Should have Problem solving and analytical skills
4. Posses Innovative thinking skills.
5. Strong Interpersonal and Communication Skills
