Senior Engineer-Construction

Role & responsibilities

• Site Execution & Supervision: Lead daily on-site construction activities, managing subcontractors, site crews, and junior engineers to ensure adherence to schedules and design blueprints.
• Technical & Engineering Coordination: Interpret structural and architectural drawings, resolve technical issues on-site, and coordinate structural and civil works.
• Quality Assurance & Safety (QA/QC & HSE): Conduct routine inspections (reinforcement, concrete, masonry, finishing), ensure adherence to safety regulations, and lead safety toolbox talks.
• Planning & Progress Monitoring: Assist in updating project baselines, monitor daily/weekly milestone targets, and identify potential delay risks early.
• Cost & Resource Management: Track material reconciliation, and contractor billings to minimize waste and keep costs within budget.
• Stakeholder Liaison: Coordinate with clients, architects, municipal authorities, and third-party inspectors to secure approvals and keep stakeholders updated

Preferred candidate profile

• Education: Diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Experience: 5+ years of hands-on site execution experience in commercial or infrastructure projects.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and structural drawing interpretation.
