Responsibilities
- Develop and oversee civil engineering projects including site surveys, design specifications, and structural planning.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure timely completion within cost and quality parameters.
- Conduct feasibility studies, risk assessments, and cost analysis for proposed civil engineering projects.
- Collaborate with architects, project managers, and other stakeholders to finalize drawings, blueprints, and project documentation.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and national building codes and industry regulations.
Requirements
- Diploma in Civil Engineering or a technical degree in a related field.
- A minimum of 6 to 8 years of hands-on experience in civil engineering project design and execution.
- Strong technical knowledge in structural design, construction management, and civil engineering principles.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and other civil engineering software such as Civil 3D, STAAD.Pro, or similar tools.
- Proven ability to manage and lead civil engineering projects from initiation to completion.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Nice to Have (Skills)
- Experience working on infrastructure, municipal, or commercial construction projects.
- Certification in Project Management (PMP) or similar is an added advantage.
- Proficiency in BIM (Building Information Modelling) software is preferred.
- Knowledge of sustainability and green construction practices would be beneficial.
- Strong communication and leadership skills for managing multidisciplinary teams.
- Ability to interpret and adapt to local engineering codes and construction standards.
