Senior Engineer Civil & Structural Design-EPC

Role & responsibilities

• Prepare civil and structural designs for GIS and AIS substation projects in accordance with applicable codes, standards, and project specifications.
• Design and review various foundation systems, including isolated footings, combined footings, raft foundations, pile foundations, equipment foundations, and transformer foundations.
• Perform structural analysis and design for control buildings, GIS buildings, gantry towers, girders, steel structures, cable trenches, equipment support structures, retaining walls, boundary walls, and transformer and firewall foundations.
• Review design calculations, engineering drawings, material specifications, and technical deliverables.
• Coordinate with engineering teams, clients, vendors, and site construction teams to resolve technical issues.
• Provide technical support during construction and assist in resolving site queries.
• Ensure compliance with quality requirements, design codes, standards, and industrial practices.
• Prepare and review Bills of Quantities (BOQ) for substation projects.

Candidate Profile

• B.Tech in Civil Engineering is mandatory.
• M.Tech in Civil Engineering is preferred.
• 68 years of relevant experience in civil and structural design.
• Experience in GIS/AIS substation projects is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of civil design codes, structural analysis, and foundation design.
• Ability to coordinate with cross-functional engineering teams and support site execution
