Senior Electrician

Role & responsibilities

• Handle electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of plant machinery and electrical systems.
• Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of electrical equipment.
• Diagnose and resolve electrical faults.
• Ensure smooth operation of production machinery and electrical installations.
• Read and understand electrical wiring diagrams and circuit drawings.
• Conduct regular inspection of electrical systems and identify potential issues.
• Maintain electrical maintenance records and follow safety procedures and SOPs.
• Coordinate with the Production and Maintenance teams for timely resolution of breakdowns.

Preferred candidate profile

• Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems and maintenance.
• Good troubleshooting and fault-finding skills.
• Knowledge of preventive and breakdown maintenance.
• Good understanding of electrical safety practices.
• ITI/Diploma in Electrical Engineering preferred.
• Candidates from manufacturing/industrial plants, especially PVC/WPC or similar manufacturing environments, preferred.
