Senior Electrician (Utility Maintenance)

Utility Equipment Maintenance & Troubleshooting

Diesel Generators (DG Sets - Sudhir): Execute routine operational checks, load management, AMF panel logic troubleshooting, and minor/major service maintenance on Sudhir DG sets.

Air Compressors (Chicago Pneumatic / CP): Perform comprehensive preventive maintenance, service overhauls, and periodic routine maintenance (3,000 hrs / 5,000 hrs service schedules).

Industrial Chillers: Monitor and troubleshoot electrical panels, contactors, safety interlocks, and temperature/pressure controllers for industrial water/process chillers.

UPS Systems & Power Electronics: Maintain uninterrupted power supply systems, perform battery bank health checks, and execute component-level electronic card repairs/troubleshooting for plant electronic controls.

2. LT Panels & Switchgear Management

Operational control, maintenance, testing, and breakdown repair of Air Circuit Breakers (ACBs) and LT Power/Control Panels.

Deep fault-finding in control wiring, relay logic, contactors, motor control centers (MCC), and automatic changeover circuits.

Monitor power factor, voltage stability, phase balance, and load distribution across the plant electrical distribution network.

3.Preventive Maintenance (PM) & Compliance

Implement and execute strict Preventive Maintenance (PM) schedules for all utility equipment to minimize unscheduled downtime.

Maintain complete documentation, logbooks, breakdown reports, and PM checklists in compliance with plant safety and quality standards.

Strictly follow Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures, safety regulations, and electrical compliance guidelines during all maintenance activities.

4:Technical Skills & Requirements

Technical Expertise: Hands-on experience with Sudhir DG sets, CP Air Compressors (3K/5K hrs service), Chillers, UPS systems, ACBs, and LT panels.

Electronic Repairing: In-depth knowledge of electronic circuit cards, PCB troubleshooting, and component replacement.

Troubleshooting: Ability to quickly identify root causes of complex electrical and electronic breakdown issues.
