Senior Electrical Engineer

Job Responsibilities:**

* Lead and perform detailed engineering for complex electrical systems, adhering to industry standards and client specifications.
* Develop and review engineering designs, including single-line diagrams, schematics, wiring diagrams, panel layouts, and equipment specifications, lighting design, earthing design, lightning protection design, Cable engineering etc.
* Basic knowledge on power system studies.
* Prepare technical reports, calculations, and documentation for various electrical engineering projects.
* Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, project managers, and clients to ensure successful project execution.
* Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
* Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and regulations in electrical engineering.
* Participate in site visits and inspections as required.

Job Qualifications:**

* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution.
* Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in detailed electrical engineering roles.
* Demonstrated expertise in the design, analysis, and implementation of complex electrical systems.
* Conversant will tools like Dialux, Autocad, Navisworks, Knowledge in conducting various power system studies using relevant software tools (e.g., ETAP). 
* Strong understanding of national and international electrical codes and standards (e.g. IEC, IEEE).
* Excellent problem-solving abilities and a keen eye for detail.
* Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
* Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
