Senior Electrical Engineer

Job Description for Electrical Engineer:

• Lead power system design, distribution, and auxiliary power systems for EPC power plant projects.
• Prepare and review schematics, SLDs, grounding, lightning protection, and lighting designs.
• Perform key electrical system calculations and develop conceptual & detailed designs.
• Prepare project/equipment specifications, BOQs, material take-offs, and field estimates.
• Conduct system studies, bid reviews, vendor drawing reviews, and technical evaluations.
• Develop clarifications/deviations, support tender responses, and resolve supplier queries.
• Manage cost control, scheduling, work planning, and man-hour monitoring.
• Standardize documents, maintain engineering document lists, and ensure timely deliverables.
• Strong knowledge of IEC/IEEE/IS standards; EPC power or O&G project experience preferred.

Skills:

• Strong planning, presentation, and communication skills.
• Thorough knowledge of IEC/IEEE/IS standards and international codes.
• Proficiency in ETAP, E-Plan, AutoCAD, MS Project, and MS Office.
• Excellent verbal and written communication across all levels.
• Quick learner with strong problem-solving skills and team spirit.
• Knowledge of the Japanese language is an added advantage
