Senior Electrical Design Engineer

Role & responsibilities

• Execute projects in OTIF timelines with accurate electrical drawings and site execution
• Analyze project layouts and coordinate with customers for design approvals
• Finalize field component mounting schemes with the mechanical design team
• Plan and implement cable tray routing as per wiring standards
• Interpret technical drawings and define electrical requirements
• Coordinate with internal teams and clients to ensure project success and customer satisfaction
• Monitor and manage electrical project installation activities on-site
• Perform electrical hardware selection based on engineering calculations
• Prepare BOM, IO list, GA drawings, cable schedules, and reports
• Design electrical panels using EPLAN and AutoCAD
• Work on SLD, multi-line diagrams, and field instrumentation
• Ensure proper selection of automation components and safety products
• Provide technical support and collaborate with project and product managers

Preferred candidate profile

• Proficiency in EPLAN, AutoCAD
• Knowledge of Profinet, Ethernet, IO-Link, Sensors, Safety Systems
• Understanding of SLD, Multi-line drawings, Electrical Calculations
• Experience in Automation, SPM, NPD, or Process Industry projects
• Strong knowledge of electrical theory and schematics
• Good communication and coordination skills
