Senior EHS officer

Role & responsibilities

1.To drive implementation of Global Safety Programs and achieve target scores for the year

2.To organize & impart training to employees & Contract workers on EHS and enhance EHS awareness

3.To carry out EHS inspection of plant equipment, premises and people to observe unsafe acts and conditions, co-ordination with the concern departments for effective closure of the same

4.To ensure the installation, maintain & operation of Fire detection & firefighting equipments with documentation.

5.To ensure 100% EHS legal Compliance pertaining at all time

6.To ensure availability of proper personal protective equipments and enforce the usage across departments

7.Maintain ISO & achieve OHSAS standard

8.To celebrate National/ International Safety Day / Week & World Environment Day/ Week

9.To coordinate with Concern Dept. for generation & Storage of hazardous waste & process waste

10.To conduct the Mock drills and ensure efficient evacuation

11.Promptly report EHS incidents like Near Miss, Minor and Major injuries etc. investigate, identify root cause and ensure implementation of CAPA

12. Preparation and submission of EHS MIS reports to HO after review at the plant

13.Support in project activity for EHS related issues

14.Review EHS aspect before approving any Change Control”
