Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Software engineer with a strong background in Power BI and SQL to lead and manage projects effectively. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget while ensuring high-quality standards. This role requires excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage multiple projects from initiation to closure, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• Utilize Power BI to create insightful dashboards and reports that drive data-driven decision-making.
• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets, ensuring timely delivery of project milestones.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and define project scope.
• Monitor project progress and performance, identifying and mitigating risks as necessary.
• Facilitate regular project meetings and provide updates to stakeholders on project status.
• Ensure adherence to project management best practices and methodologies.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior project team members.

Mandatory Skills

• Strong expertise in Power BI, including data modeling, visualization, and report creation.
• Proficient in SQL for data extraction, manipulation, and analysis.
• Demonstrated experience in project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, etc.).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with other data visualization tools (Tableau, QlikView, etc.) is a plus.
• Familiarity with project management software (JIRA, Trello, MS Project, etc.).
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) and their data services.
• Certifications in project management (PMP, PRINCE2) are advantageous.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 5-8 years of experience in project management, with a focus on data analytics and reporting.
