Role Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and hands-on DevOps Engineer to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building, automating, and maintaining scalable infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines that enable reliable and efficient software delivery. This role requires strong expertise in cloud platforms, containerization, Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC), monitoring, and deployment automation.

The DevOps Engineer will work closely with development, QA, security, and operations teams to streamline software delivery, improve system reliability, and drive DevOps best practices across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support continuous integration and continuous deployment.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management using Infrastructure-as-Code tools.
• Deploy, manage, and optimize containerized applications using Kubernetes and Docker.
• Manage and support cloud infrastructure, primarily on Azure (AWS/GCP experience is a plus).
• Monitor application and infrastructure performance, ensuring high availability and reliability.
• Implement logging, monitoring, alerting, and observability solutions.
• Collaborate with development teams to improve deployment processes and release efficiency.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure, deployment, and production issues.
• Implement security best practices within the DevOps lifecycle (DevSecOps).
• Optimize system performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.
• Maintain documentation for infrastructure, deployment processes, and operational procedures.
• Participate in on-call support and incident management when required.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Technical Skills

• 812 years of experience in Sr/Lead DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or Site Reliability Engineering.
• Strong hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as:
• Azure DevOps
• GitHub Actions
• Jenkins
• GitLab CI/CD
• Experience with containerization technologies:
• Docker
• Kubernetes
• Expertise in Infrastructure-as-Code tools:
• Terraform
• ARM Templates
• Bicep
• Ansible
• Experience working with cloud platforms:
• Microsoft Azure (preferred)
• AWS
• Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Strong knowledge of Linux administration and shell scripting.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as:
• Bash
• Python
• PowerShell
• Experience with source control systems:
• G
• GitHub
• Azure Repos
• GitLab

Monitoring & Observability

Experience with:

• Prometheus
• Grafana
• Azure Monitor
• ELK Stack
• Datadog
• Splunk

Security

Knowledge of:

• DevSecOps practices
• Vulnerability scanning
• Secret management
• Security automation within CI/CD pipelines

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in microservices-based architectures.
• Knowledge of GitOps tools such as ArgoCD or FluxCD.
• Exposure to Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles.
• Experience with multi-cloud or hybrid-cloud environments.
• Relevant cloud certifications (Azure, AWS, Kubernetes) are preferred.
