Senior Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Specialist with strong functional understanding of Retail Assets in the Indian banking ecosystem. The ideal candidate will combine hands-on technical expertise with deep knowledge of lending products, regulatory frameworks, and digital banking workflows. This role involves working closely with business, operations, risk, IT, and external partners to design, enhance, and support retail asset solutions across the bank.

• Solution Design & Technical Delivery  Translate business requirements for retail lending into detailed technical specifications and solution architectures.  Design and support integrations across banking applications and third-party systems (e.g., bureaus, fintech APIs).  Collaborate with development teams to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performance technical solutions.  Lead technical discussions with vendors.  Drive system enhancements, performance tuning, and issue resolution across retail asset platforms.

• Gold Loans / Secured Loans  End-to-end process knowledge: sourcing → underwriting → decisioning → documentation → disbursement → servicing → collections.  Understand regulatory guidelines by RBI, CIC norms, KYC/AML requirements, and credit policy frameworks.  Ability to collaborate with policy, credit risk, and operations teams to streamline decisioning and retail workflows.
• Data, Integrations & Security  Experience integrating with credit bureaus (CIBIL, Experian, CRIF, Equifax).  Knowledge of API frameworks (REST/SOAP), microservices, and middleware platforms.  Understanding of encryption standards, JWT/JWE handling, and secure data exchange.  Work with enterprise architecture teams to ensure compliance with bank security and data governance norms.
• Business & Cross-Functional Collaboration  Work with Product, Business, Risk, and Operations to assess feasibility of new requirements.  Participate in requirement workshops, discovery sessions, and solution validation discussions.  Support UAT strategy, test case review, defect management, and deployment planning.  Provide training and technical guidance to internal stakeholders.
• Project & Vendor Management  Contribute to project planning, e􀆯ort estimation, and delivery timelines.  Manage vendor coordination, technical evaluations, and solution reviews.  Ensure adherence to SLAs, compliance controls, and audit requirements.

Required Technical Skills  Strong understanding of Core Banking Systems and Retail Lending platforms.  Knowledge of integration platforms: ESB, API gateways, middleware, microservices.  Hands-on experience in JSON, XML, SQL, scripting, and API testing tools (Postman/SoapUI).  Familiarity with cloud ecosystems (Azure/AWS) preferred.  Good understanding of authentication/authorization protocols (OAuth2.0, SSO, SAML, JWT).

Qualifications & Experience  5–12 years of experience in Banking/Financial Services, with at least 3+ years in Retail Assets technology.  Prior experience working with Indian banks, NBFCs, or fintech platforms is preferred.
