Role Description The Senior Backend Developer role is a full-time, on-site position based in New Delhi. This role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable backend services and APIs, ensuring performance, reliability, and security. The Senior Backend Developer collaborates with cross-functional teams, including frontend developers, product managers, and QA engineers, to translate business requirements into technical solutions. Daily tasks include writing clean, efficient code, reviewing code from peers, optimizing databases and system performance, troubleshooting production issues, and contributing to architectural decisions. The role also includes mentoring junior developers, promoting best practices, and helping improve development workflows and documentation.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Computer Science, including data structures, algorithms, and system design
• Hands-on experience in Back-End Web Development, building and integrating RESTful or GraphQL APIs
• Proficiency in Software Development and Programming using at least one modern backend language (e.g., Java, C#, Python, Node.js, Go)
• Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles and design patterns
• Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases, and familiarity with performance optimization and query tuning
• Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative development workflows
• Background in deploying and maintaining services on cloud platforms or on-premise infrastructure
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
• Ability to work effectively in on-site, cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts clearly
• Experience in telematics, IoT, or data-intensive systems is an advantage Experience Range: 4 years and above
