We are hiring for our client a leading manufacturing company (Foreign MNC)

Position: Sr. Engineer - Welding fixture/Tooling

Qualification: B.E/Dip - Mech

Experience: 3 - 8 years

Location: Chennai

Note: Interview Mode Face to Face only

3 ~ 5 Years (B.E) & 5-8 Years (Diploma) experience.(3D Concept Design & 2D Detailing BIW Welding fixtures, Checking fixtures, Positioners for Heavy parts, Automotive panels, Railways Coach parts etc. experience maybe desired).

Roles & Responsibilities
Specific Experience in design and development of JIGS & FIXTURES/PRODUCTION TOOLING/SPMs.
 Good knowledge in GD&T
 Good knowledge in Industrial Engineering concepts
 Hands on experience in 3D CAD models
 Hands on shop floor fixture manufacturing experience
 Good written and oral communication.
 Proficient in AUTOCAD, CATIA software.
 Initial Proposal & Concept preparation, Design, manufacturing,
proving & presentation to Client.
 Proficient in MS excel and PowerPoint
 Specific Experience with Project Companies, Fixture
manufacturer, Auto Tier-1, Engineering Service companies, etc
 Supplier follow-up & Project completion on Cost/Time.
 Good knowledge of costing for standard market items.
 Dynamic Person capable of handling local contractors and
vendors
 Will be posted on Site works also, Proficient in Handle
contractors.
