Senior Design Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the PMC team overseeing the design, constructio and commissioning of storm water pumping stations.
• Review and approve detailed engineering designs, especially in instrumentation, control systems, and hydraulic modeling.
• Monitor contractor progress, ensuring compliance with specifications, timelines, and quality standards.
• Supervise the construction phase, including site inspections, technical reviews, and approval of work packages.
• Oversee the commissioning process, ensuring system functionality, reliability, and integration with existing infrastructure.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and client stakeholders, ensuring smooth communication and issue resolution.
• Manage project schedules, budgets, risk assessments and progress reporting.
• Implement quality assurance and HSE procedures during all project stages.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and interface with municipal authorities or regulatory bodies where required.
• Drive project documentation, reporting, and knowledge transfer to internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Civil/Environmental Engineering, or related field.
• Masters degree in Project Management, Hydraulic Engineering, or related disciplines is a plus.
• Minimum 8 to 10 years of experience in water and wastewater infrastructure with specific experience in storm water systems and pumping stations.
• Proven experience in hydraulic modeling.
• Proficient in using software like EPANET, Info Works,AutoCAD, MS Project, etc.
• Strong understanding of construction supervision, QA/QC, and contract management
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
