Senior Design Engineer

Role & responsibilities

• Independently handle machine design projects from concept to final design release.
• Prepare machine layouts, 3D models and 2D engineering drawings using SolidWorks.
• Perform design calculations and ensure design feasibility.
• Coordinate with customers for technical discussions and DAP approvals.
• Ensure design quality, drawing accuracy and cost optimization.
• Conduct design reviews and coordinate with manufacturing and assembly teams.
• Prepare and release BOMs through SAP.
• Monitor project timelines and ensure on-time design and drawing releases.
• Prepare project presentations and provide regular updates to management.

Required Skills:

• Strong knowledge of SolidWorks, AutoCAD and mechanical machine design.
• Experience in Machine Tools / SPM / Capital Equipment design.
• Knowledge of machine layouts, design calculations and engineering drawings.
• SAP knowledge for BOM preparation and release.
• Experience in independent project handling and customer coordination.
• Good communication, presentation and team coordination skills.
