Senior Design Engineer

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Senior Design Engineer with strong technical knowledge of Safety Valves, Pressure Relief Valves and industrial valve design to support our product development and ASME UV certification program.

Key Responsibilities:

Design safety valves and pressure relief valves as per applicable ASME and API standards.

Prepare GADs, detailed manufacturing drawings, assembly drawings and BOMs.

Perform design calculations, stress analysis, tolerance analysis and valve sizing.

Design valve bodies, bonnets, nozzles, discs, spindles, springs and other components.

Select suitable materials based on pressure, temperature and service conditions.

Support prototype development, testing and design validation.

Coordinate with production and QC departments.

Maintain engineering calculations, drawings and design documentation.

Required Skills:

AutoCAD, SolidWorks or equivalent 3D CAD software.

Knowledge of ASME BPVC Section XIII, ASME B16.34 and API 520/526.

Experience in mechanical design and precision valve components.

Understanding of casting, forging, machining and assembly processes.

Preferred: Candidates from ASME UV-certified safety valve manufacturing organizations.

Salary: Negotiable based on relevant experience.
